While this book may seem interesting to those unfamiliar with the writings by and about the Mitford sisters, to a rabid Mitford fan it may fall flat.

The author did not have access to Lady Mosley's letters (although she did have Lady Mosley's cooperation with the book), and the result is a biography entirely lacking in the Mitford charm and wit/5(12).
